You, Yes, You! I See You.

If you go pretty long without anyone seeing you, you can start to really question if you exist.

People need to be seen, heard, understood.

Today I learnt that you can increase a premature baby’s chances of surviving simply by stroking the back of its head every couple of times a day. Touching is necessary for brain development.

Studies show that rats living in cages alone are much more likely to take cocaine than rats that are in environments with other rats. This means we need each other, as much as we don’t like to admit it.

When was the last time you were grateful?

Stack up your list of gratitude and do not become a victim of anything.

There are 7 billion of us all experiencing different lives, but when we come together those differences dissipate and we realise that we cannot exist without each other.

It can be noisy living in your own head. The average human has 70,000 thoughts a day.

Are you treating your life as if it were an accident or a miracle?

Sometimes, all it takes is someone to notice you.

In the midst of madness, all we want is another person to stop and say “I understood you”.

It takes courage to be solitary, but it takes understanding to be social.

Whatever pain it is that haunts you, which ever particular thought is etched into your memory, I urge you to release it.

I see you sipping coffee and turning off the news when it gets too heavy.

I hear your heavy sighs on the train and I want you to know that you are not invisible.

I promise you are not alone because I see you in all your glory.

You are love and love is all around you.
